Developing original animal experiment management system

Abstract

The director approves all animal experiment protocols following their review by the committee and the laboratory animal manager. Due to the complexity of procedures and vast information, many institutions and universities utilize proprietary systems. However, such systems can be expensive, particularly for smaller institutions. The data science seminar at NCCHD is held for all staff, including doctors, researchers, and office workers. We aim to develop an original animal experiment management system with the support of the NCCHD data science seminar team.

Perspectives

We make the system freely available for anyone to use and modify.

Not only is a great deal of research being conducted, but many workers including medical and office workers are also taking the initiative to learn programming at NCCHD.Against this backdrop, I started to create an original system with data science seminar team. We hope many institutions and universities will use this system.
